SURABAYA, SWARAJOMBANG.com – Penegasan Ketua Umum DPP Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN) Zulkfli Hasan bahwa Muhadjir Effendy menjadi bakal calon wakil presiden (Bacawapres) dari PAN di samping Eric Thohir, menjadi indikasi mau mendengar aspirasi massa akar rumput PAN.
“Tetapi sebaiknya, Bacawapresnya cukup Muhadjir. Sedang Eric Thohir disiapkan untuk menjadi Ketua Umum DPP PAN 2025 sekaligus untuk capres/cawapres di Pilpres 2029. Ini baru mantab,” kata Herman Rivai, Deklarator PAN Surabaya dihubungi di Surabaya, Sabtu (15/7/2023).
Sementara itu tokoh muda Muhammadiyah yang juga analis politik, Yunan Saifullah menyatakan, nama Muhadjir menggelinding secara alami dalam bursa Bacawapres. Maka apabila PAN ikut mengusung Muhadjir dapat memberikan multiplier effect kepada partai politik lain.
PAN akan mendapat coat-tail effect (efek ekor jas) yang besar jika sungguh-sungguh mengusung Muhadjir sebagai Bacawapres.
“Sebagai salah satu kader terbaik Muhammadiyah, tentu memiliki elektoral yang kuat di jejaring Muhammadiyah, di samping jejaring birokrasi dan asosiasi ilmu sosial dibanding Erick Thohir yang hanya memiliki popularitas,” tegas Yunan yang juga dedengkot komunitas Aremania ini.
Sebelumnya ramai diberitakan, Ketua Umum DPP PAN Zulkifli Hasan menyatakan bahwa Menteri Koordinator Bidang Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan (Menko PMK) yang juga Ketua Pimpinan Pusat Muhammadiyah Muhadjir Effendy menjadi alternatif Bacawapres PAN di samping Menteri BUMN Erick Thohir.
Menurut Herman, yang dibutuhkan PAN saat ini adalah tokoh yang memiliki coat-tail effect ke partai agar tidak terlempar dari parliamentary threshold (ambang batas minimal parlemen). Karena menurut pelbagai survei, posisi PAN cukup kritis di Pemilu 2024.
Untuk meningkatkan elektoral harus merangkul kembali basis konstituennya yaitu warga Muhammadiyah. Apalagi saat ini warga Muhammadiyah juga disuguhi alternatif baru yaitu Partai Ummat. “Saya pernah bilang kalau PAN ditinggal warga Muhammadiyah bisa wassalam,” tegasnya.
Untuk itu, Herman sangat yakin bahwa sosok Muhadjir akan didukung jutaan warga Muhammadiyah akan meroketkan elektoral PAN. Potensi elektoral ini tidak dimiliki Erick.
“Tapi Erick memiliki keunggulan sumber dana yang kuat. Dengan kelebihan ini maka ia cocok dijadikan Ketua Umum PAN 2025. Sekaligus diproyeksikan untuk capres atau cawapres di Pemilu 2029. Sebab syarat ketua umum partai itu harus memiliki dana yang kuat,” kata aktivis Angkatan 66 ini.
Herman wanti-wanti agar terkait Muhadjir sebagai Bacawapres, Zulhas tidak sekadar lip service untuk menarik simpati umat Muhammadiyah yang jumlahnya sekitar 60 juta tersebar di seluruh Indonesia. Jika itu dilakukan akan menjadi bumerang bagi PAN.
Sebelum PAN, PDIP lebih dulu menyebut nama Muhadjir masuk dalam bursa Bacawapres untuk berpasangan dengan Ganjar Pranowo, capres PDIP. Hal itu disampaikan Ketua DPP PDIP Ahmad Basarah sesuai Muhadjir memberikan tausiah kebangsaan di Masjid At Taufiq kompleks kantor DPP PDIP beberapa waktu lalu.
