LUMAJANG, SWARAJOMBANG.com – Bupati Jombang Hj. Mundjidah Wahab menyerahkan bantuan untuk korban erupsi Gunung Semeru berupa uang tunai sebesar Rp. 700 juta. Bantuan itu diserahkan kepada Bupati Lumajang, Thoriqul Haq di pendopo Kabupaten Lumajang,, Minggu (2612).
Dana sebesar Rp. 700 juta itu berasal dari para guru yang dihimpun melalui Persatuan Guru Republik Indonesia (PGRI) sebesar 400 juta serta ASN sebesar Rp. 300 juta. Bupati Mundjidah didampingi Wabup Sumrambah, Forkompimda yakni Dandim Jombang, Letkol (Inf) Muhammad Hanafi, S.IP, M.Han, Kapolres AKBP Moh Nurhidayat, Dansatradar Letkol. Lek Yudi Amrizal S, ST, MM , Ketua PN, Bambang Setyawan, SH, MH, Kajari Imran, SH, MH, Sekdakab Agus Purnomo, SH, M.Si, serta para kepala OPD. Namun, tidak seorang pun pimpinan DPRD Jombang yang ikut serta.
Bupati Mundjidah mengatakan, sumbangan dari ASN dan para guru itu diharapkan bisa meringankan beban masyarakat yang tertimpa musibah. “Mudah-Mudahan sumbangan ini bisa meringankan beban masyarakat yang terkena musibah. Kami berdoa semoga saudara-saudara kami yang terkena musibah diberi ketabahan,” kata Mundjidah.
Meskipun tidak dalam jumlah yang sangat besar, kata bupati, setidaknya bisa digunakan untuk membenahi sejumlah infrastruktur yang rusak seperti tempat ibadah, sekokah dan rumah warga. Erupsi Gunung Semeru telah merusak sedikitnya 2.000 rumah, sejumlah tempat ibadah dan sekolah.
Bupati Lumajang, Thoriqul Haq menyampaikan terima kasih yang tak terhingga atas bantuan masyarakat Jombang yang telah diserahkan oleh Bupati Mundjidah. “Saya atas nama masyarakat Lumajang menyampaikan terima kasih atas simpati dan bantuan masyarakat Jombang. Kami agak gunakan bantuan ini sebaik mungkin,” kata Bupati Lumajang, Thoriqul Haq. (hsp)
