JAKARTA, SWARAJOMBANG.com – Ketua DPD RI, AA LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti, mendapatkan mandat untuk memberlakukan kembali Undang-undang Dasar 1945 buah dari Proklamasi Kemerdekaan Bangsa Indonesia 17 Agustus 1945.
Mandat yang diberikan Penyambung Suara Kedaulatan Rakyat itu, disampaikan dalam Silaturahmi Elemen Masyarakat Presidium Nasional Majelis Permusyawaratan Bumiputra Indonesia, Kamis (16/6/2022), dengan tema ‘Mengembalikan Kedaulatan Rakyat Melalui Konstitusi’ di Gedung B DPD RI, Senayan, Jakarta.
“Kami yang bertanda tangan di bawah ini, pembawa suara kedaulatan rakyat senantiasa memohon Berkat Rahmat Allah Yang Maha Kuasa, memberikan Mandat penuh kepada Dewan Perwakilan Daerah Republik Indonesia (DPD RI) untuk memperjuangkan perubahan masalah fundamental pada Sidang Tahunan MPR RI tangga 16 Agustus 2022,” tutur Sultan Sepuh Jaenudin Arianatareja, Pangeran Heru Rusyamsi Arianatareja, sebagai perwakilan yang membacakan mandat.
Mandat tersebut adalah memberlakukan kembali UUD 1945 yang ditetapkan pada 18 Agustus 1945 sebagai buah Proklamasi Kemerdekaan RI pada 17 Agustus 1945. Kemudian mengembalikan MPR RI sebagai lembaga tertinggi negara dan sebagai pelaksana sepenuhnya kedaulatan rakyat.
“Serta membentuk Komisi Konstitusi dengan melibatkan keanggotaan non legislator dan non senator, terdiri dari unsur kedaerahan dan utusan golongan termasuk utusan TNI dan Polri,” katanya.
Yang menjadi landasan dikeluarkannya mandat ini antara lain kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara yang semakin menyimpang jauh dari cita-cita kemerdekaan RI, juga aspirasi dan tuntutan masyarakat agar penyelenggaraan pemerintahan negara kembali didasarkan kepada konstitusi dasar negara yaitu UUD 1945.
Sementara Wakil Presiden ke-6 RI, Try Sutrisno yang juga hadir di acara tersebut menjelaskan, jika sejak awal pihaknya sudah memperingatkan kepada MPR agar lebih hati-hati dan cermat serta waspada terhadap perubahan yang ada.
“Tetapi, rupanya peringatan ini tak dihiraukan. Saya pun termasuk terakhir yang dapat memperingatkan. Dari proses amandemen satu dua tiga empat yang jelas ini semuanya tidak sesuai dengan kesepakatan yang dibuat. Maka dari itu kita minta bantuan Pak Nyalla mengawal ini. Beliau adalah sosok yang tepat untuk mengembalikan ini semua,” katanya.
Try Sutrisno menjelaskan, MPR membuat 6 kesepakatan tapi hanya 5 kesepakatan yang akhirnya dilaksanakan.
“Waktu itu Amien Rais ketemu saya di markas besar ABRI dia mengatakan tidak usah khawatir, karena amandemen ini tidak berubah, MPR tetap akan mempertajam. Ini kesepakatan sendiri tetapi akhirnya tidak dilakukan,” katanya.
Ketua DPD RI, AA LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti yang langsung menerima mandat tersebut tegas mengatakan siap mengawal dan menjalankan mandat tersebut.
“Kami menerima mandat ini dan siap menyampaikan amanat ini segera, bahkan kami akan bawa ini ke MPR untuk dapat menggelar sidang istimewa,” tegas pria yang lahir di Jakarta, besar di Surabaya dan memiliki orang tua asal Bugis itu.
Kegiatan ini dihadiri para tokoh seperti Ketua DPD RI AA LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti, Wakil Presiden RI ke-6 Try Sutrisno, Ketua Umum PPAD Doni Munardo, Senator asal Lampung Bustami, Senator asal Kepri Darmansyah, Sekjen DPD RI Rahman Hadi, dan Staf Khusus Ketua DPD RI Sefdin Syaifudin dan Togar M Nero.
