Menko Muhadjir mengatakan hal itu dalam wawancara dengan Radio Sonora di Jakarta, Kamis (15/6/2023).
Sebelumnya, Presiden Joko Widodo, pada Rabu (14/6/2023), memutuskan Indonesia akan segera masuk ke fase endemi Covid-19 dan akan diumumkan dalam satu hingga dua minggu ke depan. Kebijakan itu seiring dengan keputusan Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia atau WHO (World Health Organization) yang telah resmi mencabut status kedaruratan Covid-19, pada 5 Mei 2023 lalu.
“Nanti skemanya untuk pembayaran bisa dialihkan ke BPJS kesehatan. Bagi yang mampu atau yang terikat dengan pekerjaan di swasta atau negeri akan dibayarkan perusahaan, yang mandiri bisa bayar sendiri, yang tidak mampu ditanggu pemerintah melalui skema PBI BPJS Kesehatan (Penerima Bantuan Iuran dari pihak pemerintah),” jelasnya.
Lebih lanjut, Muhadjir menerangkan, di masa endemi, virus Covid-19 akan dianggap sebagai penyakit umum seperti flu. Untuk selanjutnya vaksinasi Covid-19 di masa endemi akan menggunakan produk dalam negeri Vaksin Merah Putih.
“Untuk vaksin sekarang sudah tidak lagi impor, sekarang akan pakai Vaksin Merah Putih keandalannya Insya Allah tidak kalah dengan skema impor,” ujar dia.
Muhadjir mengatakan, untuk ke depannya tim khusus dalam penanganan Covid-19 juga akan ditiadakan, termasuk dalam hal peraturan pemerintah juga akan diganti. Kemudian nantinya pemanfaatan APBN pemerintah fokus untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan penanganan prioritas pemerintah seperti penanganan stunting dan kemiskinan ekstrem.
