“Pertumbuhan ekonomi tanpa hadirnya kesejahteraan bagi pekerja merupakan pelanggaran terhadap Pancasila. Hal tersebut menjadi dasar KSPSI akan terus konsisten mengawal terpenuhinya hak-hak pekerja,” kata Jumhur dalam pidatonya di Kongres KSPSI Rabu (16/2/2022).
Dikatakan, ekonomi Indonesia merupakan warisan yang kini kita nikmati dari hasil tumpah darah para pahlawan, sudah selayaknya ekonomi Indonesia harus juga mengakomodir kepentingan para pekerja.
Permasalahan pekerja di Indonesia, kata Jumhur sangatlah beragam.
KSPSI juga akan terus berbenah untuk menjadi organisasi yang lebih progresif.
Jumhur berkomitmen bahwa KSPSI akan melakukan pembinaan, perlindungan, dan meningktakan kesejahetaraan bagi para buruh.
KSPSI sebagai serikat buruh terbesar di Indonesia tentu akan melakukan tindakan kedalam dan keluar untuk menjaga marwah organisasi.
“KSPSI sebagai gerakan pekerja terbesar di Indonesia, harus bisa menjadi rumah besar bagi seluruh asosiasi pekerja di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, KSPSI akan dikelola secara Modern, Mandiri, dan Profesional. Hal ini akan tercapai dengan mulus, karena saya yakin di kader KSPSI ini diisi para pemuda dan orang tua yang sama-sama progresif,” ungkap Jumhur
Dalam gelaran yang dihadiri pengurus KSPSI Se Indonesia tersebut, Jumhur menegaskan bahwa KSPSI harus menegakkan Tri Partid dalam Politik.
Pemerintah yang mengatur negara ini tidak boleh kita pandang sebagai sesuatu yang tak tersentuh, namun KSPSI harus terus lantang memberikan Kritik terhadap kebijakan yang kita nilai tidak pro kepentingan pekerja.
“Saya tidak bosan-bosannya mengingatkan kita semua untuk menjadi anggota KSPSI yang progresif. KSPSI sudah selayaknya mampu bertindak cepat dan mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan dengan tegas,” katanya.
Oleh karena itu, sambung Jumhur, “Jika saudara-saudara melihat ada pertentangan di ranah teknis, mari kita coba diskusikan. Namun, bilamana nilai Normatif sudah kita rasa telah dilanggar, maka harus kita Lawan dengan aksi nyata,” tegas Jumhur.
