SIDOARJO, SWARAJOMBANG.com – Memperingati HUT ke 59, prajurit Petarung Brigif 2 Marinir unjuk kemampuan Lari Lintas Alam di Bhumi Marinir Gedangan, Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur, Jumat (07/01/2022).

Selain Lari Lintas Alam, kegiatan yang dibuka secara langsung oleh Komandan Pasmar 2 Brigjen TNI (Mar) Suherlan tersebut juga mempertandingkan cabang renang militer, menembak, dayung perahu karet dan lari estafet.

Lomba Lari Lintas Alam yang menempuh jarak 8 km itu diikuti Yonif 1 Marinir, Yonif 3 Marinir dan Yonif 5 Marinir, masing-masing Batalyon diwakili 37 orang yang terdiri dari 31 orang Tim inti dan 6 orang cadangan.

Dan Pasmar 2 Suherlan mengatakan, perlombaan yang dilaksanakan itu merupakan suatu rangkaian kegiatan dalam rangka memeriahkan hari ulang tahun ke-59 Brigif 2 Marinir yang diperingati tanggal 17 Januari 2022.

Disamping itu sebagai wujud dari pembinaan personel yaitu sarana menggali dan menjaring atlet-atlet berprestasi di lingkungan Brigif 2 Marinir, dengan harapan Brigif 2 Marinir memiliki kualitas atlet yang lebih baik untuk berlaga di event yang lebih tinggi.

Disampaikan juga bahwa dalam setiap perlombaan tidak semata-mata untuk menjadi pemenang, namun yang lebih penting adalah terbentuknya jiwa kebersamaan, kekompakan serta sportifitas dari masing-masing peserta dalam setiap perlombaan.

Hasil Lomba Lari Lintas Alam keluar sebagi juara pertama yakni Yonif 5 Marinir dengan catatan waktu 1 jam 50 menit 30 detik, juara dua Yonif 3 Marinir dengan waktu 1 Jam 56 menit 38 detik dan Yonif 1 Marinir berda di urutan ketiga dengan waktu 2 jam 11 menit 17 detik.

Sedangkan untuk waktu tercepat direbut oleh Pratu Mar Khaerudin dari Yonif 1 Marinir dengan waktu 39 menit 06,08 detik.

Sementara itu, Komandan Brigif 2 Marinir Kolonel (Mar) Rudi Harto Marpaung didampingi Ketua Panitia Lomba Letkol (Mar) Supriyadi menyampaikan bahwa perlombaan dalam rangka HUT ke-59 Brigif 2 Marinir tahun 2022 digelar mulai tanggal 7 hingga 17 Januari 2022, yaitu Lari Lintas Alam atau cross country, renang militer, menembak, dayung perahu karet dan lari estafet.

Selain Lomba Perorangan Dasar, lanjutnya, juga digelar lomba khusus untuk Jalasenastri Brigif 2 Marinir yaitu lomba MC atau Pembawa Acara, lomba memasak nasi goreng, lomba menghias kue tart dan lomba membuat tumpeng.

Hadir dalam kesempatan tersebut, Wakil Komandan Pasmar 2 Kolonel (Mar) Purwanto Djoko Prasetyo, para Asisten Danpasmar 2, Wadan Brigif 2 Letkol (Mar) Argo Setiyono, para Perwira Staf dan Komandan Satlak serta perwira di jajaran Brigif 2 Marinir. (*)
