SIDOARJO, SWARAJOMBANG.com – Prajurit Brigif 2 Marinir bertarung adu cepat pada lomba dayung perahu karet dalam rangka memperingati HUT ke 59 Brigif 2 Marinir di Kolam Kompi Falcon Yonif 3 Marinir Kesatrian Marinir R. Suhadi Gedangan, Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur, Selasa (11/01/2022).
Lomba dayung perahu karet yang dibuka oleh Komandan Pasmar 2 Brigjen TNI (Mar) Suherlan tersebut masing-masing Satuan (Yonif 1 Marinir, Yonif 3 Marinir, Yonif 5 Marinir) diwakili 31 personel, pada pelaksanaannya dibagi menjadi 5 gelombang.
Dalam lomba dayung tersebut keluar sebagai juara pertama Yonif 1 Marinir dengan total waktu 14 menit 16 detik, Juara Dua diduduki Yonif 3 Marinir dengan total waktu 15 menit 10 detik dan Yonif 5 Marinir harus puas sebagai Juara Tiga dengan total waktu 15 menit 16 detik.
Komandan Pasmar 2 Brigjen TNI (Mar) Suherlan didampingi Komandan Brigif 2 Marinir Kolonel Marinir Rudi Harto Marpaung menyampaikan bahwa lomba dayung perahu karet tersebut merupakan gambaran ketangkasan, kecepatan serta kekompakan tiap Batalyon dalam melaksanakan setiap tugas yang diberikan.
“Lomba Kemampuan Tingkat Peleton ini merupakan tolok ukur atas kemampuan dan kesiapan satuan di jajaran Brigif 2 Marinir yang loyal, profesional dan militan,” tegasnya.
Dalam kesempatan itu Komandan Pasmar 2 menyampaikan ucapan selamat kepada Yonif 1 Marinir yang berhasil meraih juara pertama lomba dayung perahu karet. Bagi Satuan yang belum berhasil, Brigjen TNI (Mar) Suherlan berharap agar tidak berkecil hati dan meningkatkan lagi kemampuannya sehingga bisa meraih prestasi yang lebih baik lagi dalam even berikutnya.
Sementara itu, Komandan Brigif 2 Marinir Kolonel Marinir Rudi Harto Marpaung didampingi Ketua Panitia Lomba Letkol Marinir Supriyadi menyampaikan bahwa perlombaan dalam rangka HUT ke-59 Brigif 2 Marinir tahun 2022 digelar mulai tanggal 7 hingga 17 Januari 2022. Materi yang dilombakan meliputi Lari Lintas Alam atau cross country, renang militer, menembak, dayung perahu karet dan lari estafet.
“Selain Lomba Kemampuan Tingkat Peleton, juga digelar lomba khusus untuk anggota Jalasenastri Brigif 2 Marinir yaitu lomba MC atau Pembawa Acara, lomba memasak nasi goreng, lomba menghias kue tart dan lomba membuat tumpeng,” pungkasnya.
