JAKARTA, SWARAJOMBANG.com — Menteri Koordinator Bidang Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan (Menko PMK) mendampingi Wakil Presiden Ma’ruf Amin memimpin Rapat Koordinasi Nasional terkait Percepatan Penurunan Stunting Tahun 2023 di Istana Wakil Presiden, pada Jumat (6/10/2023).
Muhadjir memberikan apresiasi kepada pihak-pihak yang terlibat atas berbagai aksi nyata yang telah dilakukan sehingga angka stunting dapat turun sejak tahun 2013. Angka terakhir menunjukkan prevalensi stunting tercatat menyisakan 21,6 persen di tahun 2022.
“Kita berharap tahun ini dapat kita turunkan 3.8 persen sehingga target 14 persen di tahun 2024 dapat kita wujudkan,” ujar Muhadjir memberikan sambutan dihadapan para menteri, gubernur, dan walikota yang hadir.
Muhadjir melaporkan, terdapat sejumlah catatan dari hasil monitoring terpadu yang dilakukan Kemenko PMK betsama Kementerian dan Lembaga di 14 Provinsi Prioritas stunting sebagai tindak lanjut dari Roadshow Percepatan Penurunan Stunting dan Kemiskinan Ekstrem yang telah dilakukan di seluruh provinsi sebelumnya, antara lain perlu peningkatan penggunaan dana alokasi khusus untuk penyediaan alat antropometri dan USG, pelatihan kader dalam penggunaan alat antropometri yang masih perlu digencarkan, serta perlunya mendorong pelaksanaan PMT pangan lokal.
Muhadjir juga menyebut, pemanfaatan anggaran desa dan kelurahan masih perlu dimaksimalkan untuk mendukung intervensi sensitif dan intervensi spesifik yang dilakukan. Muhadjir juga mencatat, terdapat beberapa daerah yang masih belum memaksimalkan fungsi Tim Percepatan Penurunan Stunting dan Tim Pendamping Keluarga untuk membantu menyelesaikan persoalan stunting.
Sementara itu, Muhadjir turut menyoroti persoalan stunting di wilayah Papua yang memerlukan perhatian khusus, dimana beberapa diantaranya adalah perlunya intervensi pemerintah pusat secara langsung mengenai jumlah tenaga kesehatan, pemetaan kondisi kesehatan, serta intervensi penyediaan air minum dan sanitasi yang layak.
“Sejumlah catatan ini perlu diperhatikan bersama untuk lebih menekan prevalensi stunting di sisa kerja tahun depan. Semua harus bergerak, cepat, dan terukur. Manfaatkan dengan maksimal semua sumber daya yang dimiliki,” ucap Muhadjir.
Dalam kesempatan yang sama, Wakil Presiden Ma’ruf Amin Ma’ruf meminta agar seluruh jajaran terkait untuk tidak berpuas diri dengan penurunan angka stunting pada tahun 2022. Ia menegaskan, target prevalensi stunting sebesar 14 persen di tahun 2024 harus dikejar.
“Waktu kita hanya tersisa satu tahun lagi, artinya sisa yang harus kita capai di tahun 2023 ini adalah 3,8 persen dan di tahun 2024 3,8 persen. Itu harus dicapai kalau kita ingin 14 persen di tahun depan,” ujar Ma’ruf Amin.
