KENDAL, SWARAJOMBANG.com – Menteri Koordinator Bidang Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy mengatakan, pemerintah saat ini tengah mengevaluasi Super Tax Deduction. Mestinya dibuat mudah sehingga menarik minat pelaku usaha mendukung vokasi.
Muhadjir mengatakan hal itu saat berkunjung ke Politeknik Industri Furniture dan Pengolahan Kayu (Polifurneka) Kendal, Jawa Tengah, pada Minggu sore (12/3/2023).
Polifurneka Kendal merupakan satu-satunya Politeknik Negeri di bidang furnitur dan pengolahan kayu di Indonesia, yang berstandar global, dengan program studi D III, di antaranya Teknik Produksi Furnitur, Desain Furniture.
Ikut mendampingi Menko PMK antara lain, Bupati Kendal Dico M Ganinduto, Kepala Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Industri Kementerian Perindustrian Arus Gunawan, dan Direktur Polifurneka Kendal Tri Ernawati.
“Super Tax Deduction” adalah insentif perpajakan yang diberikan oleh pemerintah bagi industri yang terlibat dalam melaksanakan program-program pada pendidikan vokasi sesuai dengan regulasi yang berlaku. Insentif yang diberikan berupa pengurangan penghasilan kena pajak dengan biaya yang dipergunakan untuk menyelenggarakan program-program sesuai dengan regulasi yang berlaku maksimal 200 persen.
Muhadjir melihat proses praktik mahasiswa dalam mengolah kayu menjadi produk furniture di workshop. Di antaranya melihat langsung operasionalisasi mesin canggi konstruksi, disain, sending, pengolahan laminasi, dan juga mesin asembling.
Kemudian melihat berbagai hasil produk mebeler yang telah dihasilkan para mahasiswa. Ada yang membuat produk meja, sofa set, lemari, rak buku dan lain sebagainya. Karya yang dibuat para mahasiswa tersebut memiliki kualitas yang bagus.
Selaku ketua pengarah Tim Koordinasi Nasional Vokasi (TKNV) Menko PMK menyatakan, apa yang dilakukan di Polifurneka telah sesuai dengan standar Perpres Nomor 68 Tahun 2022 Tentang Revitalisasi Pendidkan Vokasi dan Pelatihan Vokasi.
“Yang perlu diintensifkan lagi adalah kerja sama dengan industri dan dunia usaha, terutama bisa menyiapkan lulusan ini agar bisa diserap di dunia kerja terutama di sektor furnitur,” ungkapnya.
Lebih lanjut, Muhadjir juga berharap Polifurneka Kendal yang dibangun oleh Kementerian Perindustrian itu bisa menghasilkan lebih banyak SDM industri yang kompeten, profesional, siap kerja di sektor furnitur, dan bisa bersaing hingga tingkat global.
Selain itu, menurutnya, para mahasiswa juga harus didorong untuk memiliki imajinasi dan kreasi mengikuti perkembangan zaman, serta harus siap untuk berwirausaha. “Mahasiswa Polifurneka harus memiliki karakter kreatif dan siap untuk menjadi wirausahawan di bidang ekonomi kreatif furnitur,” ujarnya.
Dalam kunjungannya ke Kendal, Menko PMK juga berkunjung ke pabrik mainan edukasi anak-anak yang merupakan produk olahan kayu di Kawasan Industri Kendal, yakni PT. Master Kidz Indonesia. Pabrik ini merupakan salah satu yang telah bekerja sama dengan Polifurneka dalam pemagangan industri serta mengambil tenaga kerja lulusannya.
Muhadjir berharap, angkatan kerja Indonesia bisa sesuai dengan kebutuhan dunia industri. Karena itu, upaya pemerintah dengan Perpres Revitalisasi Pendidikan Vokasi dan Pelatihan Vokasi supaya ada sinergitas pendidikan di bawah Kemendikbudristek dan pelatihan di bawah Kemnaker.
